Our Founder & Owner

Ms. Porschia Mitchell is the founder and owner of Gullah Grand International, LLC. She created the company after visiting Ghana in 2018 as a U.S. Fulbright Scholar. She has a passion to give back to and support African entrepreneurs by supplying those in the Diaspora with authentic, handcrafted goods. Porschia is an educator and the mother of two children.
